Christmas and New Year's Holiday Hours

December 21st - 25th: Closed* 

December 26th -27th: 8:00am - 5:00pm 

December 30th: 8:00am - 5:00pm 

December 31st: 8:00am - 4:00pm (early closure)* 

January 1st: Closed*

January 2nd: Regular business hours resume - 8:00am-5:30pm

Thanksgiving Holiday Hours

Wegner Library will close at 5:00pm on Wednesday, November 27th. 

The Library will be closed Thursday, November 28 - Sunday December 1st.  Badge access will be restricted to those with 24/7 access during this time. 

Veterans Day Holiday

Wegner Library will be closed on Monday, November 11th in observance of Veterans Day. We will reopen at 8:00am on Tuesday, November 12th. 

Native American Day Holiday

Wegner Library will be closed on Monday, October 14th in observance of Native American Day. We will reopen at 8:00am on Tuesday, October 15th.

 

Labor Day Holiday

Wegner Library will be closed on Monday, September 2nd. We will reopen on Tuesday, September 3rd at 8:00am. 

Internet Outage July 29th 5:30-7:30pm

 

Scheduled maintenance on the Vermillion campus will affect the HSC Building and Wegner Library. There will be no internet access from approximately 5:30-7:30pm Monday, July 29th. 

Business Hours Change

Beginning July 8, Wegner Business Hours will be 8:00am-5:30pm Monday - Thursday and 8:00am-5:00pm on Friday. After-hours badge access to enter the library for studying is available and varies by program. Contact us for more information. wegner@usd.edu  

Independence Day Holiday Closure

Wegner Library will be closed July 4 - 7 in observance of Independence Day. We will reopen at 8:00am on Monday, July 8th. 

Juneteenth Holiday

Wegner Library will be closed on Wednesday, June 19th in observance of Juneteenth. We will reopen on Thursday, June 20 at 8:00am. 

Memorial Day Holiday

Wegner Library will be closed May 25-27 for the Memorial Day holiday. We will reopen at 8:00am on Tuesday, May 28. 

Easter Holiday

We will be closed Friday, March 29 - Monday, April 1 for the Easter holiday. We will reopen on Tuesday, April 2 at 8:00am. 

Presidents' Day February 19

We will be closed on Monday, February 19th in honor of Presidents' Day. We will reopen Tuesday, February 20th at 8:00 am. 

Martin Luther King, Jr. Day January 15

We will be closed on Monday, January 15 in honor of MLK Jr. Day. We will reopen on Tuesday, January 16th at 8:00am.

Opening Late Tuesday, January 9

Wegner Library will open at 10:00am on Tuesday, January 9th. 

Closed Monday, January 8

The Sanford School of Medicine Sioux Falls campus, including Wegner Library will be closed due to weather on Monday, January 8th.
