NEW! Online DSM-5 now available!

Access to the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, 5th edition, is now available for all Partner groups. This is the newest edition of the most comprehensive resource used by health professionals, social workers, and forensic and legal specialists to diagnose and classify mental disorders.
This online book can be found in the library's catalog and through this link.
The American Psychiatric Association provides this online text, along with other online resources, through its Web-based portal, PsychiatryOnline. Also available are 9 other online psychiatric texts such as Gabbard's Treatments of Psychiatric Disorders, online journals such as Academic Psychiatry and Psychiatric News, several APA clinical practice guidelines, and several self-assessment tools for board certification (self-paced examinations in psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, substance abuse treatment, psychopharmacology, forensic psychiatry, and psychosomatic medicine). There is also an APA "Book of the Month" for short-term viewing before purchase.
